Villa Matahari is located in Pantai Seseh, a tranquil fishermen village by the beach. It is a few steps away from the Seseh Beach; one 60 minutes away from Ubud, 10 minutes away from Tanah Lot, (one of the most important temples in Bali); 15 minutes away from Batu Bolong in Canggu, 10 minutes away from Pererenan, and 60 minutes away from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
If you send us your flight details, and request us to do so, a private car and driver holding your name in a banner will be waiting for you upon arrival to the airport.

Yes and no, for the simplicity of "what comes in, goes out. Of course there will be some ants, mosquitoes, frogs, butterflies, geckos (small salamander who eats mosquitoes) visiting you. But due to the full day employment of cleaning staff; the houses are very clean and will almost never have/show unpleasant bugs.
You can buy your own groceries if you like. But, you can also ask the Butler or the Chef to do it for you. Just need to hand them a deposit to do the shopping and after buying the groceries they will hand you the receipts with the change with no extra charges, except for a small fee of 100.000 IDR (around 6 USD) that you can give directly to the Butler, so they can cover the transportation expenses for doing the shopping.
No, there are very used that there will be an appreciation tip at the end of your stay. All the staff will work very hard to make your stay at Villa Matahari an unforgettable experience, so we really encourage gratifying the staff appropriately before your departure if you were happy with the service
Of course it is at your discretion, but as an orientation we can suggest leaving to the Butler a minimum of 200.000 Rupiah per day stayed at the villa for all the staff. And if you wish to give a especial tip to a particular member of the staff for an outstanding performance, try to do it privately.
Most of the staff members speak or understand English, like most people in Bali. Even if they do not speak perfect English, they know very well their job and a bit of body language has it charms as well.
No, we will provide with bed linen and towels that will be changed on a regularly base.
While you stay in the villa, you will stay at your own risk and personal (travel) insurance. Under no circumstances shall Villa Matahari be responsible for any loss, expense, damage, claim or injury either directly or indirectly due to your stay in the Villa.
